Electrical/instrumentation

The Electrical and Instrumentation Department at Select is equipped to service your company’s project in each of the following areas.

Control Systems:

Control systems – Specify and produce the scope of work with instrumentation functionality and parameter indexes including the interlock matrix, the sequence matrix and the HMI parameters.  Review your existing system and apply system performance tuning evaluation. Perform a system risk analysis of the hardware and software.  In the case of a new system installation we can act as independent verification for specification or functional conformance.

PLC’s
Program, analyze, tune loops, reconfigure, review features and capabilities, do check-out, startup and commissioning

HMI, SCADA
Build graphical interfaces and reports, database analysis or create a maintenance management system

Industrial Networks
Design, specify, check-out, install and commission.

Fire Safety Systems
Design, specify or verify for NFPA or OSHA compliance.

PHA
Review the plant or process hardware and software for variances and produce cause and effect diagrams. 

Instrumentation
Specify, install, calibrate, checkout and commission. Provide personnel or supplement your own staff during turnarounds to help complete    major plant recalibration.

Documentation
Re-create missing documentation or update existing documentation for compliance with internal or external requirements. Provide design panel layouts, wiring diagrams, electrical conduit and device connection drawings
